Daughter files lawsuit * Psych ward hospital at center of lawsuit

THE DAUGHTER of a Jamaican woman who died unattended on the floor of the psychiatric ward at Kings County Hospital Centre (KCHC) in Brooklyn is slapping the city with a US$25 million lawsuit.
Tecia Harrison said she would file the notice Tuesday as the Brooklyn district attorney's office and the city Department of Investigation continue their probes into allegations that hospital staffers changed victim Esmin Green's medical chart. Green was 49 years old.
"Not only did they kill my mother once, they killed her twice when they tried to cover it up," Harrison, 31, told reporters Monday.
