Article: CITY OF BOULDER RECOGNIZES 25 LOCAL BUSINESSES IN CLIMATESMART AT WORK PROGRAM

The city of Boulder issued the following news release:

The city of Boulder's Office of Environmental Affairs (OEA), administrator of ClimateSmart programs, provided free and low-cost energy assessments to 25 Boulder businesses in the first two quarters of 2008. If all measures recommended by the 25 audits are implemented, these businesses would collectively save $150,000 in annual energy costs and would avoid releasing 18,000 tons of carbon dioxide into the environment.
