Helke Ferrie regrets the following errors in her article on vaccines and antibiotics published in our May issue, which she says were probably caused by "cut-and-paste efforts" to make the text fit a required word count:

MMR vaccine does not include protection against chicken pox and whooping cough, which have their own vaccines.

Tamiflu is a drug and should not have been included in the discussion of vaccines.

Vietnam was not the first country to suspend the Hepatitis B vaccine. France suspended it a few years earlier.

These errors are annoying and much regretted.
