Public restrooms with electric hand dryers should be banned. They are bad, bad, bad. This is not a trivial complaint. The entire global warming thing is implicated.

Have you ever read the little self-serving blurb plastered on these hot air blowers? It slays me.

"Dryers help protect the environment. They save trees from being used for paper towels. They eliminate paper towel waste. They are more sanitary to use than paper and help maintain cleaner facilities." Signed: "HZ AC 115V."

Ha, I say.

First of all, let's get one thing straight. These hot air dispensers do not work. They do not get your hands dry -- at least in any timely sense. In fact, if you were to hang around ...
