STATE SEN. FUSCHILLO SECURES $250,000 FOR MASSAPEQUA SCHOOLS TO SAVE TAXPAYER MONEY BY GOING GREEN

New York State Sen. Charles J. Fuschillo Jr., R-Merrick (8th District), issued the following news release:

State Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (8th Senate District) announced today that he secured $250,000 in state funding to help the Massapequa School district lower energy costs and save taxpayer dollars through renewable "green energy" technology.

"As the price of energy continues to rise, the Massapequa School District is being forced to spend more and more taxpayer dollars to power their operations. Using alternative energy sources like solar power, which is clean and renewable, will help reduce energy costs and save money for Massapequa taxpayers," said Senator Fuschillo.
