California State University Monterey Bay issued the following news release:
California State University, Monterey Bay has received a pair of awards for its work in energy conservation.
"CSU Monterey Bay is fast becoming a recognized leader in the area of energy conservation, not only within the California State University system, but also in our regional community" said CSUMB President Dianne Harrison.
On Thursday, July 24, the university was honored with the Monterey County Business Council's Public/Private Partnership award for implementing projects that have resulted in significant energy savings. The university partnered with PG&E in these projects.
