The American Bankers Association issued the following news release:
Yesterday the American Bankers Association Education Foundation recognized several state bankers associations for their efforts to promote financial education within their states, especially through the Teach Children to Save and Get Smart About Credit programs.
"At its heart, banking is about people," explains Laura Fisher, ABA Education Foundation director. "And today we acknowledge and reward the state banking associations' efforts, encouraging bankers to promote financial literacy in their communities."
