* Dan Cheever has joined Marquette Financial Companies, Minneapolis, as chief financial officer. Cheever, 52, comes to Marquette after four years with GMAC-ResCap, where he was managing director of forecasting, planning and analysis for the residential financial group. Prior to that, Cheever spent 25 years in senior positions, including chief executive officer, chief operating officer and chief financial officer, within the financial services industry in Minnesota, Colorado, Nevada, California and Arizona.

Cheever's appointment comes as Marquette continues to expand its portfolio of businesses involved in commercial finance, commercial hanking and commercial real estate investment hanking. ...
