The Colorado State Judicial branch issued the following press release:
Starting today, Thursday, July 31, at 4:30 p.m., the 19th Judicial District (Weld County) will begin accepting Visa and Master Card payments online for certain fines and fees, as well as restitution. Online payments can be made seven days a week from 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. at https://www.jbits.courts.state.co.us/cjop/.
?We made the move to begin accepting online credit card payments as a convenience to the community,? said Chief Judge Roger Klein. ?We are hopeful that providing this service will help people make payments in a timely manner without having to come to the courthouse.?
