Burlington County is run by a board of freeholders that consists of five members chosen in a countywide election.
The freeholders serve staggered three-year terms. They levy county taxes and control an array of government services, including some educational facilities.
The current freeholders are Joseph Donnelly, Aubrey Fenton, William Haines Jr., Stacey Jordan and Jim Wujcik.
The freeholders meet each Wednesday. At 11 a.m. on the second Wednesday and at 7 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of every month, the freeholders hold public meetings at which the public can ask questions or make comments.
On the first and third Wednesday of the month, they hold conference meetings. ...
