he Cape May Jazz Festival celebrates its 15th anniversary this weekend with three days of contemporary jazz artists in what can be seen as a "sequel'' of sorts to last November's hit festival.

This shore community celebrates jazz music twice each year, with a spring festival that serves as a preview of the summer tourist season and a fall fest that wraps things up for visitors.

In November, the festival's theme was "Favorites Return," a spirited retrospective of jazz performers, including the Duke Ellington Orchestra and Pieces of a Dream.
