Johnson considers three
Jim Johnson isn't worried about keeping all three of his Pro Bowl-caliber cornerbacks happy. He is concerned with keeping them all productive.
Johnson, beginning his 10th year as the Eagles' defensive coordinator, said there's no reason a three-headed cornerback monster can't work, with Asante Samuel, Sheldon Brown and Lito Sheppard all getting enough playing time to be considered starters.
Johnson is planning to rotate all three corners with the first defense throughout training camp and said once the season begins, he anticipates Sheppard -- the likely non-starter -- being on the field a lot.
