WASHINGTON -- As you drive along Capitol Avenue outside this newest baseball playpen along the Anacostia River, a sign welcomes you to the waterfront district and "Buzzard's Point."
Those weren't buzzards hovering over Brett Myers on Tuesday night. Those were blood-thirsty vultures, ready to snatch him back out of the starting rotation with another poor outing.
But for the first time in months, Myers looked like the stud starting pitcher that the Phillies had been counting on since the first day of the regular season.
