The spy for NBC

A 26-year-old native of Tiberias, Israel, will have a recurring role in a new NBC series, My Own Worst Enemy, to begin airing this fall

The bad news is that Sarai Givaty will be portraying Natasha, a Russian spy, so viewers won't know she's Israeli.

The good news is that she's not playing an Israeli spy. "

The actress told the Forward that she earned the role thanks in part to childhood art and piano teachers who immigrated to Israel from the former Soviet Union. "I know some Russian, and I definitely know the accent," Givaty said.
