REP. KUHL INTRODUCES LEGISLATION TO FULLY FUND STATE CHILDREN'S HEALTH INSURANCE PROGRAM THROUGH 2012

Rep. John R. 'Randy' Kuhl Jr., R-N.Y. (29th CD), issued the following news release:

Today U.S. Representative John R. "Randy" Kuhl, Jr. (R-Hammondsport) introduced legislation to extend full federal funding for the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) through the end of FY2012.

"While I remain committed to creating a bipartisan bill to reform and improve the current SCHIP program, I strongly believe that it is the federal government's responsibility to assure low-income, American families and States that federal funds for the SCHIP program will be there for years to come," said Rep.
