WASHINGTON, Aug. 2 -- Sen. George V. Voinovich, R-Ohio, has introduced the Federal Financial Assistance Management Improvement Act of 2008 (S. 3341), legislation that would "reauthorize and improve the Federal Financial Assistance Management Improvement Act of 1999."

The bill, introduced on July 26, was co-sponsored by Sen. Joe Lieberman, ID-Connecticut. It was referred to the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.
