John C. Calhoun Community College issued the following news release:
Calhoun Community College President Marilyn Beck today announced the hiring of Bethany Clem as the college's new Dean of Business, Technologies and Workforce Development.
Clem comes to Calhoun from the Alabama Department of Postsecondary Education in Montgomery, where she most recently worked as director of career and technical education for the past year. She also served as education administrator for the Alabama Department of Education for five years.
A native of Pulaski, Tennessee, Clem graduated from The University of Tennessee and earned her master's degree in education from Alabama A&M University.
