Introduction

As everyone in the quality profession undoubtedly knows, Dr. Joseph M. Juran passed away on February 28 at the remarkable age of 103. As I began to develop my personal interest in quality management during the 198Os, I read and studied the contributions and philosophies of Juran, as well as those of W.
