Cow's milk allergy and intolerance
As discussed in part two of this series, although any food may cause an allergic reaction,1 cow's milk is the most important food antigen in infancy.2 In prospective studies the incidence of cow's milk protein allergy has been estimated to be two to three per cent.3
Symptoms
Cow's milk allergy (CMA) can present in many ways, with some babies sensitised at birth.4
