The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed.
NAME OF PRODUCT: Chicago Electric Halogen Work Lights
UNITS: About 58,000
DISTRIBUTOR: Harbor Freight Tools, of Camarillo, Calif.
HAZARD: The halogen work lights can overheat and melt, and pose a risk of fire and electrical shock to consumers.
INCIDENTS/INJURIES: There have been three reports of incidents in which the recalled halogen work lights overheated and melted. No ...
