U.S. Representative Tom Allen, a member of the House Budget Committee, announced today that the Institute of Museum and Library Services will provide several Maine museums and libraries with Connecting to Collections Bookshelf, an essential set of books and online resources for the care of their collections.
"Collections held in Maine and America's libraries and museums are at great and immediate risk due to lack of proper care and expertise in attending to these collections.
