The National Republican Congressional Committee issued the following news release:

Rep. Chris Carney forgot to check his own assets before slinging mud at Chris Hackett, candidate for Pennsylvania?s 10th Congressional District, for "having investments" in oil companies. It turns out that Carney, like many Americans, is invested in the oil companies he and the Democrats criticize. Carney owns between $30,000 and $100,000 in mutual funds CREF Stock and CREF Global Equities, whose top holdings are oil companies.
