NRCC: Cazayoux Running from Anti-Drilling Record

The National Republican Congressional Committee issued the following news release:

After Rep. Don Cazayoux voted to give himself a five week vacation instead of addressing America?s energy crisis, he has returned to Louisiana and is feeling the heat from his constituents who want to know why Cazayoux voted repeatedly to block votes on domestic drilling in Congress. And in an ill-fated effort to cover his tracks, Cazayoux has now decided to send the Democrat Leader a letter "demanding" a vote on drilling:

"Democratic Rep. Don Cazayoux, sent a letter to House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer last week, demanding a vote on more domestic oil exploration."
