Article: THREE SCULPTURES ADDED TO CITY'S PUBLIC ART COLLECTION

The city of Hot Springs issued the following news release:

Three sculptures from the 2008 Outdoor Sculpture Showcase, currently on display at the Exchange Street Parking Plaza in downtown Hot Springs, have been selected to become part of the city's public art collection.

The Queen by Gary Mitchell of St. Louis, Missouri; Strutting His Stuff by Ann Edmundson of Fort Smith, Arkansas; and Winds from the South by Wayne Summerhill of Hot Springs were purchased by the city's Arts Advisory Committee for a total cost of $10,550.
