WASHINGTON, Aug. 7 -- Sen. Ken Salazar, D-Colorado, has introduced the United States Olympic Committee Paralympic Program Act of 2008 (S. 3376), legislation that would "amend title 38, U.S. Code, to authorize the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to provide assistance to the Paralympic Program of the U.S. Olympic Committee."
The bill was introduced on July 31. It was referred to the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee.
