The U.S. Army Special Operations Command issued the following news release:
Iraqi Security Forces captured six suspected terrorists and detained nine others during separate operations in northern Iraq August 2 - 5.
The 3rd Iraqi Army Division captured a suspected al-Qaeda in Iraq improvised explosive device cell leader near Sinjar August 5. The suspected terrorist, allegedly an emir of IED operations in Mosul, reportedly came to the area to elude capture in Mosul.
