Provincial Progressive Conservatives gave their shadow cabinet a shake yesterday, and it will be Arthur-Virden MLA Larry Maguire's job to make sure the government doggedly pursues the idea of making Winnipeg an inland port.

"An inland port transportation route is on of the biggest issues that is going to face Manitoba in the next decade," Maguire said yesterday. "We have to make sure that we don't lose the opportunity of getting an inland port in Manitoba based in Winnipeg as an opportunity to enhance our trade and create jobs here in Manitoba."
