BETHLEHEM -- The last time Asante Samuel played a football game, it didn't go so well. In fact, it was a disaster.
Samuel's assignment during most of Super Bowl XLII in Glendale, Ariz., in February was to cover David Tyree of the Giants, who had caught four passes all year.
Four minutes into the fourth quarter, Tyree got a step on Samuel and caught a 5-yard touchdown pass from Eli Manning that gave the Giants a 10-7 lead over the heavily favored Patriots.
