Article: British Inventors Develop Wound Healing Process

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 15 -- Stanley Beames Brown of Burley-in-Wharfedale, Great Britain, and Cassandra Clare O'Grady of Leeds, Great Britain, have developed a wound healing method.

According to a description of the invention, released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "This invention relates to wound healing, the use of certain heterocyclic compounds and compositions and medicaments containing them in a wound healing process and for cosmetic uses."

The inventors were issued U.S. Patent No. 7,407,953 on Aug. 5.

The patent has been assigned to Photopharmica Ltd., Leeds.
