Dear Fellow Members,

I'd like to open my first column as president by congratulating all the attendees, presenters, volunteers, sponsors, exhibitors, staff and vendors for another successful and wellattended AG Bell Convention.

In addition to participating in another successful convention, last month the AG Bell board of directors reaffirmed the association's long standing position on two leading communication approaches for the deaf and hard of hearing - spoken language and American Sign Language (ASL).
