Hip-hop choreographer's new studio reaches out to L.A. kids.

Dancer and choreographer Chopper Platt has appeared in the films You Got Served and Stomp the Yard, and toured with superstars like Ludacris, Missy Elliott and Ashanti. He credits his success to his early exposure to dance-a gift he's now passing on to others through a nonprofit initiative called Pure Movement Dance Program.

Based at Platt's Ography Dance Studio in Los Angeles, which opened in May 2007, Pure Movement offers financial aid and scholarships to kids in need.
