SOMERSET COUNTY SCORES on Business ... and Home Front

New Jersey business folklore (apocryphal as it might be) tells of management teams, charged with planning corporate relocations from New York to New Jersey in the late 1960s and early 1970s, drawing radii from their executives' homes to determine ideal sites for their new campuses. Somerset County, within easy commuting distance, and with hundreds of available acres of developable farmland, often appeared at the top of the list.
