The National Republican Congressional Committee issued the following news release:
Another negative mailer paid for by Washington Democrats attacking Marty Ozinga, Republican candidate in Illinois' 11th Congressional District for supporting tax breaks for oil companies who expand refineries to increase domestic supply, hit mailboxes this week and conveniently leaves out that Debbie Halvorson, the Democratic candidate, also supports those same exact tax credits. To top it off, Debbie Halvorson is the only candidate in the race to have taken money from the "Big Oil."
As was highlighted earlier this month, Debbie Halvorson has received more than $3,500 in campaign contributions from oil ...
