The National Republican Congressional Committee issued the following news release:
Rep. Tim Mahoney (D-FL) has released his first television spot for the general election and seems to have a short memory span. While Tim Mahoney claims in the ad that he's "grateful for the opportunity to serve you", he's said otherwise in the past.
In an article that ran in The Hill newspaper in Washington, D.C., the headline read, "Very candidly, this isn't the greatest job I've had," a quote attributed to Mahoney. The article continued:
