Councilman's aide takes unpaid leave
Philadelphia City Councilman Jack Kelly's indicted chief of staff will take an unpaid leave of absence.
Christopher Wright was indicted on federal corruption charges Aug. 5. On Wednesday, Kelly announced that he has chosen not to fire Wright but to grant him an unpaid leave of absence with a guarantee of his job back if Wright is exonerated.
Wright's attorney did not return a call by KYW radio Wednesday for comment.
