Could Big Brown run his next race at Philadelphia Park?
It appears unlikely, but track management has given it the old college try.
After this year's Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner won the $1 million Haskell Invitational at Monmouth Park on Aug. 3, Michael Iavarone, one of the principal partners of IEAH Stables, the ownership syndicate that holds the majority of Big Brown, suggested a mid-September turf race was where he wanted to see his champion run in his next start.
