A graduate student team from Kansas State University was first in the team sprayer calibration event and was the third place overall graduate team at the North Central Weed Science Society Collegiate Weed Science Contest, Aug. 14, in Carlyle, Ill.

SGS Alvey Ag Research, a contract research company in Carlyle, hosted the contest.
