The body of a 44-year-old woman, who had a history of depression and alcoholism, was discovered with boxes of medication including labetalol [Trandate] and meprobamate [Equanil] [dosages, time to reaction onset and therapeutic indications not stated].
Other medications found at the scene included acepromazine/aceprometazine/dipotassium clorazepate, allopurinol and tianeptine. The woman's autopsy revealed congestion of all the viscera and unspecific lesions on the main organs. Observations included: alveolar oedema with focal and mild bronchitis, liver micro- and macro-vesicular steatosis and mild chronic interstitial nephritis.
