Although it may not be the oldest church on the Hill, Ebenezer Baptist Church is certainly one of the leading congregations in Pittsburgh. Throughout its 133-year history, it has served Pittsburgh's Black community with faithfulness and distinction.
To celebrate its longstanding service to God and community, the Ebenezer family invited the community to join them June 6 for their 10:30 a.m. worship services featuring guest speaker Rev. Charles E. Mock, executive secretary of the Home Mission Board of the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc. The theme was "Celebrating the Rich History of Ebenezer Baptist Church and the Heritage of the Hill."
