AUSTIN, TEXAS - The American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP) will hold two summer continuing-education meetings - one medical and one practice-management seminar - July 27-29 at the Hilton Austin.

The Focus session topic is "The First Year of Life," aimed at providing current research and advanced techniques in foal care. Sessions will cover neurological and genetic disorders, limb deformities, ultrasonography, caring for the critically ill foal and fracture management. The Focus program is sponsored by AAEP educational partner Bayer Healthcare's Animal Health Division.
