ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 29 -- Thomas D. Kwon of Irvine, Calif., Jonathan S. Min of Buena Park, Calif., Fang Lu of Rowland Heights, Calif., and Thomas J. Kolze of Phoenix, have developed a receiver for processing received signal.

An abstract of the invention, released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, said: "A receiver includes a filter stage that receives, filters, and equalizes a received signal, and a decisional feedback loop coupled to the filter stage that receives and processes a signal output from the filter stage using remodulation.
