Article: FORT WORTH INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT RECEIVES MAJOR FEDERAL GRANT FOR FINE ARTS

The Fort Worth Independent School District has issued the following news release:

U.S. Representative Kay Granger will join with the Fort Worth ISD and members of the Fort Worth art community to announce the awarding of a three year federal Fine Arts grant to the Fort Worth Independent School District. The grant total is $941,570.

The announcement will take place at a news conference on Friday, September 5, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Green Room of Bass Hall. Bass Hall is located at 4th and Calhoun Street in Fort Worth.
