The Democratic Party of Missouri issued the following news release:

"Tonight George Bush endorsed John McCain to serve out his third term declaring: 'The man we need is John McCain.' George Bush made it crystal clear that a vote for McCain is just a vote for more of the same," said Jack Cardetti, Missouri Democratic Party spokesman. "Our great country can not afford four more years of George Bush and John McCain's failed economic and foreign policies. Only by electing Barack Obama President will we turn the page on the Bush administration and bring about the change Missourians so desperately deserve."
