The Democratic National Committee issued the following news release from the Democratic National Convention:

In a move to ensure that Convention operations run smoothly and efficiently, the Democratic National Convention Committee (DNCC) today named Motorola the Official Two-Way Radio Provider of the 2008 Democratic National Convention, to be held August 25-28 in Denver, Colorado.

In this capacity, Motorola will provide the Convention with mission-critical communications hardware, 300 two-way radios, more than 900 iDEN� push-to-talk units and a radio frequency (RF) network that Convention planners will use to communicate with one another in and around Convention venues, including the ...
