Article: German Inventors Develop Electrical Decoration Lighting Device

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 8 -- Thomas Von Ronn and Birgit Clemens, both of Hamburg, Germany and Harald Rathman of Berlin, Germany, have developed a lighting device.

According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A lighting device that may be independent or may be one of a set that includes a plurality of lighting devices. The lighting device may be a Christmas tree-topper device, that may be placed on top of a supporting body, such as the top of a Christmas tree.
