ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 8 -- Sang Jin Youn and Jung Sik Kim, both of Suwon-si, South Korea, and Chan Hoon Park of Pyeongtaek-si, South Korea, have developed a front panel operating device.
An abstract of the invention, released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, said: ""A front panel operating apparatus and method of a vehicle display device such as a car audio can include a main chassis for accommodating an audio device, a front panel provided in the front side of the main chassis that opens or closes to allow access to a record medium for the audio device.
