Article: ESTONIA: PRIME MINISTER ANSIP DEPARTS FOR CROATIA SEPT. 8 MORNING

The government of Estonia issued the following news release:

Tomorrow, 8 September, Prime Minister Andrus Ansip will depart on a visit to Croatia. The main objective of the visit is to strengthen the political and economic relations of Estonia with Croatia, who in the coming years is expected to become a partner and ally of Estonia in the European Union and NATO.

During the visit, Prime Minister Ansip will meet with Ivo Sanader, the Prime Minister of Croatia, and Luka Bebiæ, the Chairman of the Parliament. The meeting of the heads of governments will take place on Tuesday, and topical items of the European Union, including energy and the future of the Union, are planned to be discussed.
