TIME FLIES, THINGS CHANGE-RAPIDLY
It has been just over five years since fas, Journal of Engineering Education announced its more focused mission "to serve as an archival record of scholarly research in engineering education," and became the first journal dedicated solely to publication of engineering educational research (Lohmann, 2003). Two years later we celebrated this achievement with a special issue entitled, "The Art and Science of Engineering Education Research" (Felder, Sheppard, and Smith, 2005).
