Article: DEFENSE FUNDING BILL PASSES SUBCOMMITTEE

The office of Sen. Tim Johnson, D-S.D., issued the following news release:

U.S. Senator Tim Johnson (D-SD) announced today funding levels he secured in the 2009 Defense spending bill for South Dakota totaling $48 million, which passed the Senate Defense Appropriations Subcommittee yesterday. The bill will now move to the full Senate Appropriations Committee, of which Johnson is a member, for consideration.
