Article: Pennsylvania Inventors Develop Multiple Gloss Level Surface Covering Making Method

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 12 -- Dong Tian and Ralph W. Wright, Jr., both of Lancaster, Pa., and Scott Whalen of Mount Joy, Pa., have developed a multiple gloss level surface coverings making system.

According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Methods for providing surface coverings with differential gloss, and surface coverings prepared by the method, are disclosed. The methods involve screen printing or rotogravure printing a relatively low gloss primer onto portions of a substrate surface covering.
